Non-photography, theorized by François Laruelle, is about devorcing all context from a photgraph. There is no concept of a subject, photographer, composition, pretext, or context. It exsists in a void as a sort of non-thing, as if there was no sentient being able to percive and analize it. It exsist’s merely as an aeasthetic, but not even really as an aesthetic because that is a philosophy in itself.

He states that the photograph is not a picture of reality or even a copy or abstraction. It is a fiction that is “wholly real but in its own mode”- the fictional realm. The photograph is unique unto itself, an unlimited opening into the world occasioned by lights and shadows in time, but is in no way constrained by either the experiential universe or the theoretical and art historical preconditions set up for it.”

I’m honestly disgusted by this. Y’all are complaining about how short her skirt was when this is clearly the larger issue. A freaking pastor groped her at a memorial in a damn church. Why aren’t more people talking about this? What the HELL?

Those comments in the Shaderoom were a mess. Y’all should’ve seen all the people defending him and his status as a “man of God.” Well those same “men of God” are always the ones you have to look out for smh. They were calling it a reach but he could’ve easily threw his arm over her shoulder or on her (upper) back.

It was all on her face, she looked so damn uncomfortable.

as a certified PK (Preacher’s Kid) i know without a doubt that it really be the people in the church doing the worst shit. a lot of these “upper echelon” ministers, bishops, decons, elders, etc. they have the most shit swept under the rug. and yes God forgives, but the bible also says to abide by laws of the state (nation) which you live…. so the Lord disapproves. stop defending this bullshit
